Reviews
Of all the places we are in Florence (and there were many, some great, some tourist traps), this is the one we enjoyed the most. It felt more like an out of the way place where locals eat. Quiet, quaint. Lovely service. A very engaged staff. Prices more than fair. And the food was very good. Seasonal, so what we had might not be on the menu next month. Still, the wild boar tagliatelle was my personal favorite, along with the shaved zucchini salad. Do try to make a reservation, even though it is difficult to call them. Go at lunch and see if they have anything for dinner. Or just go to lunch, love it, and then come back for dinner!
This place was awesome. The food was great. The staff was very helpful. I had the carmel cheesecake for dessert and would definitely recommend it. One of the best meals we had in Italy.
A simple osteria in the middle of the Florence old town. The service is friendly and quick. The food is hearty Tuscan classics.
Perfect Italian restaurant! Homemade pasta. I had a really nice experience at this restaurant. You have to make reservation at least 1 day or 2 days before by calling the restaurant. Ah, the dessert was also amazing! Unforgettable!
Everything about this place was amazing! The chicken was so so good! Do your self a favor and get the baked patotoes and cheese cake instead of tiramisu.
Had dinner here thanks to a friend recommendation, just wow.
Very small family owned kind of vibe, under 10 tables total.
We had 2 pastas, 2 meat dishes, 2 desert and a bottle of wine.
Very reasonably priced! Especially considering the very generous portions!
I would highly recommend!
The only caveat is they only accept reservations via phone and I would highly recommend reserving due to their small size.
Hands down the BEST food we’ve had in Italy, counting Venice, Rome, Verona and Lake Como. We went two days in a row and will make it three today. Absolutely amazing experience.
The best Italian I've ever eaten! We read the Google reviews and saw that Osteria had featured on the Netflix show, "Somebody Feed Phil", so we popped in when we visited Florence. The manager found us a table as we didn't book, and it was super busy. We ordered the truffle pasta (delicious!) and veal saltimbocco which husband said was the best he'd ever eaten. The wine was superbly matched and when we paid our bill we were gifted limoncello's. This is a MUST-DO in Florence, but make sure you book :)
